I saw a post on sankakucomplex that had this video, I found it really touching… almost shed a tear. I’ll probably add some subs to the video itself later today.

Umm, the third time she repeats “fushigi kokoro” she says “mugen wa” or something to that extent. I’m pretty sure of it too… I’ve listened to and watched various versions of it too (including Len’s side where he’s the professor). And I’m not sure if she’s saying “fushigi”. Because in all the other videos I’ve watched… it says (the translation) “a wonder.” And it doesn’t sound too much like she’s actually saying fushigi. But I could be wrong. After all, I’m not an expert on Japanese. But, I’m thinking about singing this song for a convention skit of sorts so I want to get it just right! I’m just putting my input of your translation. It’s mostly right, but there’s just a few parts! Anyway, tl;dr. If you want to correct me, go ahead.

I just used the Japanese subs on the video, it never said that there… ^^

fushigi is defined as “【ふしぎ】 wonder, miracle, strange, mystery, marvel, curiosity,”, I try to translate in a way that “sounds” English, and “a wonder, a heart, a heart, a wonder” sounds very weird to me ^^; so I went for the way I did, it’s a bit non literal, but it sounds better to me.
Of course, translation is all a matter of opinion, so I like your input ^^
